There is nothing quite like a no-bake dessert featuring “Milk’s favorite cookie”…or should I say, “My favorite cookie?” This No-Bake Oreo Chocolate Pie recipe is EASY! In fact, it is so easy that I have been making it for my family since I was 8 years old. Being so young, I was not allowed to use the stove or oven unsupervised so no-bake sweets were always my go-to when I wanted to make my family a special treat.
This recipe only requires a few ingredients. The Oreos I used were the mini Oreos. I think the mini ones are the cutest and they do not overpower the look of the pie. It is also easy to sneak a few of these in my mouth as I make it.
This pie is easy to assemble and only needs 1 hour of chilling time. Having made this for many years, I believe I have found the perfect combination of pudding, whipped topping, and Oreos to really give it a good flavor. The measurements of this recipe can be easily adjusted to accommodate your preferences.
Now, what makes this pie so unique is how each component is built upon the other. Let’s discuss each one:

Crust: I use a 9-inch store-bought chocolate pie shell. You are certainly welcome to make your own pie crust with ingredients that you like. I find using store bought is so much easier and it tastes just as good as homemade in my opinion. I like using this chocolate crust because it is not too hard, has a fine texture, and easily crumbles when I take a bite.
Filling: The filling is delightful and satisfies any sweet tooth. It also is not too rich in chocolate and will not overpower your taste buds. With each bite, you can taste that the chocolate pudding is a bit subdued by the whipped topping, but is certainly not dulled down. If you try it and find that you want to use a little more of the chocolate pudding mix before adding it to the pie shell, you certainly can.
Topping: This is where the Oreos make their debut. The topping is ½ whipped topping mixed with crushed Oreos. I like using only half of the whipped topping because it helps the Oreos to stand out. After placing on the topping, I like to add a few whole Oreos on top to give this pie a finishing touch. If I’m feeling fancy, I’ll even pipe some whipped topping on top (as pictured).

Lastly, after placing this pie in the refrigerator to set for 1 hour, it is ready to be sliced into and served. I love how beautifully this cuts! I wipe off my knife between each slice for a clean cut. This pie goes well with a cold glass of milk. I hope you enjoy this unique treat and make this one of your go-to desserts!
Enjoy your pie!
